TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The cost is R75 per car, payable in advance to the account details to be supplied on acceptance on your application.

  2. Only a car OR a bakkie OR a trailer can be accommodated.

  3. Arrive at 3 Struben Street, Shere on or before 8am. We cannot have cars entering once customers start arriving at the market.

  4. Please make sure you have the correct address. There is also a Struben street in Pretoria West.

  5. All spots are marked with a number. Proceed to the number relayed to you. Please park within the demarcated area and keep your wares within that area as well.

  6. Please be respectful of the no parking signs in the vicinity.

  7. We ask that every person cleans up around their vehicle so that we leave the site free of rubbish.

  8. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO STAY UNTIL 1pm. Leaving early creates gaps between the vehicles and it’s unfair to fellow booters.

GENERAL INFORMATION IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE AS A VENDOR

  1. Application can be made online on this site.

  2. Please read the terms and conditions carefully

  3. You are welcome to bring a small table, like a fold up picnic table to display some of your wares. Keep everything within the demarcated area and close to your vehicle for control purposes and so that we can all fit in. Gazebo’s are not advised as there is ample shade.

  4. Bring enough change. Choose round price amounts without cents. A limited amount of change will be available at eh office on the day. PLEASE wear a little bag, cross over style, or a moon bag for your money. Keep your cell phone in that same bag on you.

  5. Keep a note pad and pen handy for contact details of customers.

  6. We are advising the buyers to bring bags and baskets for their purchases, but you will need some packaging material. DO NOT GO AND BUY ANYTHING. USE YOUR OLD GROCERY PACKETS AND NEWSPAPERS! Ask friends, family and neighbours to collect for you. We do not encourage any new plastic into our already polluted town.

  7. There will be food stalls, a pancake stall, tea garden and cold beverages available for sale on the day so that you can concentrate on your sales and not be concerned with the hunger and thirst.
